GEFORA enters operational service: a major milestone in the digital transformation of the armed forces
MASA Group is proud to announce that GEFORA, which stands for GEstion pour les FORces Armées (Management for the Armed Forces), an innovative system designed to support the armed forces throughout the operational cycle, has entered operational service. GEFORA is now fully integrated into the Armed Forces Information System (SIA) and meets the growing needs for coordination, planning and conduct of operations.
Designed to adapt to each stage of the operational cycle – from doctrinal studies to the generation of a Battle Order compatible with Battlefield Digitalisation (NEB) – GEFORA represents a major advance in the efficiency and consistency of digital military systems.
Its relevance was fully demonstrated during the BIA23 exercise, where GEFORA enabled the effective planning of the deployment of French and Belgian forces, while ensuring the initialisation of the embedded information systems of the new SCORPION armoured vehicles (Griffon, Jaguar, Serval). This ability to combine strategic planning and technical interoperability illustrates the power and maturity of the system.
The result of four years of design and development by the MASA Group teams, GEFORA embodies our commitment to putting our expertise at the service of the digital transformation of the armed forces. This project illustrates our ability to design robust, scalable solutions tailored to the operational requirements of modern armies.
