SWORD FORUM 2026

The SWORD Forum 2026, held from January 13 to 15 at the Land Forces Command (CFOT) in Lille, marked a decisive milestone for the global military simulation community. Co-organized by MASA Group and the French Army, this major event showcased the growing interoperability of allied forces. The first day, centered on national challenges, strengthened the synergy between our teams and French defense stakeholders, highlighting breakthrough advancements such as agentic AI. This cutting-edge technology, integrated into the SWORD software, now enables the modeling of autonomous behaviors with unparalleled fidelity, providing headquarters with increasingly complex and realistic training scenarios.

The forum then took on a truly global dimension, welcoming delegations from across the map: from European partners (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic) to transatlantic forces, featuring a prominent presence from the US Marine Corps out of Quantico. Global expertise was further enriched by insights from partners in Africa (Senegal, Ivory Coast, Gabon), the Middle East (Lebanon), South America (Peru), and Asia (Taiwan).

Beyond technical performance, these three days proved that the strength of simulation lies as much in algorithmic power as in the solid human bonds between its users. Through intensive working sessions and shared moments of camaraderie, MASA Group reaffirms its role as a trusted partner for armed forces worldwide, with a clear ambition: providing the advanced technological tools necessary to prepare forces for the challenges of tomorrow.
